About Us

In 1998, with the purchase of our third broodmare, we realized our dream of becoming preservation breeders of CMK Arabians. At this time, we plan to pursue our goals through Gulastra, Skowronek, and up-close Davenport lines. In addition to winning in the showring, these well-proven lines continue to star in endurance racing, with many individuals winning regional and national AERC titles.

Currently, we are fortunate to be standing Belesemo Farwa who is a full sibling to several successful endurance competitors. Predictably our foals are carrying on their heritage as tractable, structurally sound, typey Arabians.  Our family enjoys spending time with our beautiful babies and realizes the importance of preserving these horse for the future. At this time we can offer a few of our foals and young stock for outside opportunities.

Our belief in the CMK lines for their consistent performance and temperament enable us to confidently campaign a few select individuals on the endurance trail. In addition to our breeding and endurance riding we also believe in encouraging the next generation of interest in the versatile Arabian horse. Sojourn supports junior endurance riders and invests time in a small youth program teaching safety, discipline, and overall care of our horses from foals to riding horses.
